Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Deliver Driver/Prep Cook to join our team. This role is essential in making sure deliveries are done in a timely manner making sure all items are included, as well as helping with food preparation when there are no deliveries, cleaning fryers and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, knowledge of the Westwood/Headingly/Charleswood area, and a passion for hospitality and food service environments. Previous experience as a driver, in a restaurant, hotel, or kitchen settings is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders, this includes some catering orders as well
- Maintain cleanliness in the prep area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including handling food items safely
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary items are available and ready for use
- Follow proper procedures for oil waste disposal
- Assist with maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen area during service hours
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling standards is helpful
- Experience with food preparation or cooking
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of efficiency
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
Starting hours would be couple evenings a week until Late June/July when fulltime can open up
Pay: $16.00 per hour
