Junior / Senior Kindergarten Teacher

What You'll Do
As our Junior/Senior Kindergarten teacher, you will:
- Create an engaging, play-based and inquiry-driven classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.
- Deliver Ontario curriculum and UFLI expectations while embracing hands-on learning experiences.
- Build strong relationships with students and their families through ongoing communication and partnership.
- Create beautiful, organized classroom environments that celebrate student learning.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators who regularly share ideas and resources.
- Participate in enrichment experiences, school-wide events, field trips, assemblies, and extracurricular opportunities.
- Help foster our school's culture of kindness, curiosity, leadership, and community involvement.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who knows that teaching Kindergarten is about far more than delivering curriculum. It's about building relationships, nurturing confidence, creating wonder, and making children excited to come to school every day. Experience matters to us. We value educators who have developed strong classroom management skills, understand how young children learn, and have a proven ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
While candidates who are members in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) are encouraged to apply, we also welcome applications from experienced Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) or educators with equivalent Kindergarten experience who are passionate about early learning and believe they would be an excellent fit for our school community.

Work Schedule
- School hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Staff hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- One week of classroom preparation before students arrive in September.
- No scheduled work during Christmas Break or March Break.
