Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
- Support the catering team by setting up banquet or event areas with necessary supplies and ensuring timely cleanup afterward.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash bins, and organizing storage areas regularly.
- Buss tables in dining areas during service hours to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Candidates with restaurant experience, hotel work, or culinary backgrounds will find this role an excellent stepping stone into the food industry.
