Key Responsibilities
Project & Financial Administration
- Support project budget tracking, forecasting, and work-in-progress reporting
- Prepare and issue client invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities
- Assist with payroll administration, reporting, and timesheet review processes
- Support accounts payable processing, expense reporting, and vendor payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end reporting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized financial documentation and audit-ready records
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with project teams, operational leaders, clients, and vendors
- Monitor project billing schedules, financial milestones, and reporting deadlines
- Respond to internal financial inquiries and provide administrative support as needed
Process Improvement & Systems Support
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline financial processes
- Support ongoing system enhancements and automation initiatives
- Assist in maintaining data integrity across accounting and project management systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the finance function
Qualifications
- Diploma or post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or project accounting experience
- Experience working with accounting and ERP systems; project-based accounting experience is considered an asset
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
