Manufacturing Machine Operator / Technician
South Surrey, BC | Full-Time, Monday–Friday 6am – 2:30pm

TAG Hardware is looking for a Manufacturing Machine Operator / Technician to join our growing production team. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or machine operating experience who enjoys hands-on work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is looking to continue building their technical skills.
Reporting to the Manufacturing & Plant Manager, you'll operate a variety of manufacturing equipment while learning more advanced machine setup, troubleshooting, and production processes.
Compensation: $23.75-$26.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications
What You’ll Do

Set up, operate, and monitor a variety of manufacturing equipment.

Operate cutting saws, grinders, profile wrappers, slitting equipment, and other production machinery.

Perform machine adjustments and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.

Follow daily production schedules and standard operating procedures

Inspect, package, and move finished goods

Maintain quality standards and escalate issues as needed

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe (5S)

Support inventory counts and material flow across production

Contribute to continuous improvement and team success
What You Bring

Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools/equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Basic math and reading skills (work orders, labels, procedures)

A dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude
