Spectra is a fast-growing, ISO-certified aluminum parts supplier with 5 facilities across Ontario and head office in Bradford. We’re expanding and looking for a driven Engineering Technologist to join our team.
In this role, you will help with designing, testing, and improving products, systems, and tooling. You’ll work closely with engineers, production teams, and vendors.
What You’ll Do:
- Solve equipment or process problems
- Collect and review technical data
- Coordinate tooling repairs, maintenance, and new builds
- Track tooling inventory and condition
- Support tooling design and improvements (jigs, fixtures, dies)
- Work with vendors on tooling quotes and timelines
- Assign tasks and check work for quality
- Help train new staff and support team safety
What You Need:
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in tooling/process improvement
- 1–2 years of experience (an asset, but not required)
