Hamre's Funeral Chapel is seeking the an energetic, compassionate individual to join their team. Candidate must be courteous, professional and helpful as they represent the funeral home as the first point of contact from grieving families. You will provide administrative support to families, funeral directors, managers, and co-workers. Professional and appropriate dress is required.
Minimum one year of similar or related experience. Must have intermediate office skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel as well as Adobe Photoshop. Must have good people skills with a compassion for helping families during a difficult time in their lives. Successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail with effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively in essential. Must have the ability to work under time constraints and tight deadlines. Must demonstrate core values of trust, compassion and care towards families and staff at all time. Would be responsible for creating and producing funeral stationery, maintaining cleanliness of office, ensuring appropriate office supplies and inventory are on hand, assisting in administrative support for funeral directors and managers, answering phones and scheduling of appointments and other funeral home related duties.
Starting wage $20/hr. Competitive benefits offered in which half are compensated by the company. Office hours Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30 pm with 1 hour for lunch (with the occasional evening and weekend). Professional office attire required.
