As per the Environmental Services job description
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years work experience in the housekeeping field in a Long Term or Acute Care environment
Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and follow through on specific instructions
Able to lift, pull, push, and move heavy equipment and heavy furniture regularly
Able to work well with others including co-workers, supervisors, and residents
Must be able to work all shifts; days, evenings, nights, and on an on-call basis
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
WHMIS training is considered an asset
Must be able to maintain regular and consistent attendance
