Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist with any guest inquiries or concerns, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with basic math skills.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while adhering to restaurant policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy restaurant environment.
