Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Assist with plating, garnishing, and presentation of meals to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks seamlessly
- Help with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating ingredients
Qualifications
- Prior food service or restaurant experience, particularly in food preparation or cooking roles
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with meal preparation, serving, and basic cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
