Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer and or Siding Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Valid Drivers License and experience in roofing and siding installation and repair, demonstrating a strong ability to work with various materials and techniques. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Roofer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of roofing projects while adhering to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, metal, and modified bitumen products
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as needed during roofing projects.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively, including caulking tools for sealing joints.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper integration of roofing systems.
- Flat roofing experience is ideal but not mandatory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer or Siding Installer, or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Steep Sloped experience is desirable.
- A Valid drivers license.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely.
- Experience with caulking and sealing techniques is preferred.
- A maintenance person background is a plus, showcasing versatility in construction tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
