Cook
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, menu specifications, and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared, portioned, and presented in a consistent and appealing manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance concerns.
- Assist with menu preparation, daily specials, and kitchen setup and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely food service.
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking, kitchen, or food service experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work full-time, including flexible shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
Food Service Worker
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, dining areas, and equipment.
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Assist with cash handling and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Support opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup tasks.
- Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work full-time, including flexible shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as required.
