Overview:
We are a family-owned painting company located in Barrie, Ontario. We’ve proudly served clients in and around Barrie for over 10 years.
Here at Wagg’s Painting, we prioritize quality service and expertise. We are a very detail-oriented painting business; we ensure that work is always completed with precision and consistency in mind.
We are looking for a motivated, experienced individual who is also willing to learn and grow within our company/team. Prior painting experience is a requirement.
Duties/expectations:
- Prepare and sand surfaces to be painted
- Perform minor repairs to drywall
- Use brushes and rollers to paint surfaces
- Apply caulking
- Drive company van, unload and load equipment and supplies and be responsible for van inventory and organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Previous interior & exterior painting experience
- Must own a personal vehicle and G driver's license and be willing to to drive to jobs up to one hour away- In the lead position a company van will be driven most times but you may be required to use your own vehicle when required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, especially with customers
- Ability to work both in a team setting and independently
- Willingness to work extended hours, and on a flexible schedule
- Comfortable working on a ladder
This is a lead position which will require you to drive a company vehicle, a clean driving record is mandatory.
