Mobil Grain is a family-founded organization owned by GCM Grosvenor and Bluejay Capital Partners. We operate two Saskatchewan short line railroads, Last Mountain Railway (85 miles) and Big Sky Rail Corp (250 miles), along with nine bulk processing facilities strategically located to support agricultural and industrial supply chains across the province. Mobil Grain also operates Intermobil, an intermodal yard in Regina, and MobilEx, a shipping terminal in Thunder Bay.

POSITION SUMMARY
This role combines traditional HR generalist responsibilities with strategic development initiatives. The successful candidate will:
· Lead recruitment strategies, including hiring pipelines.
· Support the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, templates, and internal processes.
· Support career development and training programs.
· Ensure HR compliance across federal and provincial regulations.
· Provide HR support and guidance to employees and management, fostering a productive and engaged workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Staffing
· Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes.
· Develop and maintain pipelines for future talent needs.
· Support retention initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
HR Policies & Processes
· Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
· Create templates for HR documentation, performance reviews, and employee communications.
· Continuously evaluate and improve internal HR processes for efficiency and consistency.
Employee Development & Engagement
· Coordinate training and professional development programs.
· Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
· Organize employee engagement activities that strengthen workplace culture.
Compliance & Reporting
· Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation, employment standards, and company policies.
· Track HR metrics and analyze data to support informed HR decision-making.
· Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education
· A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
· CPHR designation, or working toward certification, is preferred.
Experience
· Previous experience in a Human Resources role is required.
· Experience with recruitment and HR policy development is preferred.
Skills
· Woeking knowledge of Saskatchewan and federal employment legislation, human rights law, occupational health and safety requirements, and union frameworks.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
