Position Overview
The General Shop & Yard Labourer will assist with various shop and yard tasks related to shipping container modifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with tools, and learning new skills. Previous experience is not required; however, candidates must be comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping container modification projects
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Support carpentry, welding, and installation tasks
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Perform general labour duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Physically capable of lifting and performing manual labour
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic carpentry experience, plumbing , electrical and welding experience is an asset
- Experience working in construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment is beneficial but not mandatory

Additional Information
Our facility is located in an area with limited public transportation access. Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
