Job Summary

Duties
- Install various flooring types including hardwood, vinyl with hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and flooring installation plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials to create optimal conditions for flooring installation.
- Measure spaces accurately using tape measures and layout tools to determine material quantities and cutting requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely when required for large-scale or complex installations.
- Collaborate with team members on construction estimating, project timelines, and material ordering to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality craftsmanship.
