Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team, bringing energy and expertise to patient care and rehabilitation services. In this role, you will utilize your comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, acute care, and patient management to support individuals in achieving their optimal physical health. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop personalized rehabilitation plans based on medical records and clinical evaluations
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions, guiding patients through exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting treatment progress and patient responses with attention to detail
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care strategies in acute care settings
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses during therapy sessions
- Manage case documentation efficiently using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for reporting and communication purposes
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication administration, and health maintenance strategies
Skills
- Strong proficiency in computer software used for documentation and communication ("Jane" app knowledge would be an asset)
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and proper terminologyDemonstrated experience with electronic medical records systems and computer operation skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care
- Effective communication skills for clear instructions, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Proven time management abilities to prioritize tasks in fast-paced healthcare settings
- Analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
