We are looking for carpenters and apprentices to cut, fabricate, and install fences, decks, gazebos, pergolas, bridges and sheds. You'll work in diverse settings to produce aesthetically pleasing, functional, top-of-the-line builds for our clients.
The ideal candidate has great hand dexterity, an eye for detail, and working knowledge of the materials, tools, and techniques of the trade — able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp project scope
- Take measurements and calculate size and amount of material needed
- Cut, shape and install lumber and other materials to spec
- Hands-on experience with carpentry materials
- Proficient with power and manual tools (saws, hammers, measuring tools, etc.)
- Willingness to read/learn technical drawings
- Good knowledge of English and basic math
- Good endurance and the ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions
- Able to perform other landscaping tasks as needed
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving abstract required
