JOB TITLE: CRM Developer
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Design, develop, configure, customize, test, deploy, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand operational processes, gather and clarify requirements, identify pain points, and translate business needs into practical CRM solutions.
- Partner with Product Owners and business teams to validate solution designs, confirm expected outcomes, support UAT activities, and ensure delivered CRM functionality aligns with business requirements.
- Work with business teams, Product Owners, software developers, QA, data, infrastructure, and technical teams to produce CRM solution designs and technical specifications.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, workflows, business rules, dashboards, security roles, and model-driven apps.
- Develop, maintain, and support Dataverse components, plugins, custom workflows, Power Automate flows, and related Power Platform solutions.
- Develop and support integrations between Dynamics 365 CRM and internal applications, external systems, APIs, Azure services, and enterprise data platforms.
- Create and maintain reliable, scalable, secure, and well-documented CRM customizations and extensions.
- Participate in requirements gathering and translate business processes into functional and technical CRM designs.
- Support CRM-related production issues, defect resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work effectively with QA teams to support testing, troubleshoot issues, validate releases, and resolve defects in development, UAT, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, solution reviews, change control, release planning, and deployment activities.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, test plans, data migration specifications, integration documentation, and support documentation.
- Support CRM security, access control, data integrity, auditability, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to development standards, reusable components, documentation practices, and knowledge sharing across the IT team.

Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Developer, Dynamics 365 CE Developer, or CRM Application Developer.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Customer Service, Sales, or related CRM modules.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, security roles, and solution management.
- Experience developing Dynamics 365 plugins, custom workflow activities, JavaScript web resources, Power Automate flows, and custom connectors.
- Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI integration concepts.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms and working with integration patterns between CRM and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 solution management, managed and unmanaged solutions, environment strategy, and deployment practices.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Key Vault, or Application Insights would be an asset.
- Strong understanding of C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related Microsoft development technologies.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, including querying, data validation, data transformation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data migration, data mapping, data cleansing, and integration testing involving CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience working through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with source control, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployment processes.
- Experience creating functional and technical specification documentation, including specifications for customizations, integrations, data migration, and system changes.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, least-privilege access, secure coding, and application support best practices.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, explain technical options, support UAT, and resolve system-related business issues.
- Experience working in healthcare, benefits administration, public sector, insurance, case management, or contact centre environments would be an asset.
- Identify vulnerabilities (e.g., injection attacks, improper authentication, insecure deserialization).
- Integrate automated security scanning (SAST/DAST) and code quality checks into pipelines
- Ensure controlled deployments through environment segregation (Dev, UAT, Prod) and approval gates.
- Ensure CRM solutions comply with organizational security standards, privacy regulations, and audit requirements.
- Participate in security reviews, risk assessments, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on security, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to security standards, reusable components, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent frameworks).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications would be considered an
asset.

ANNUAL SALARY: $105,000 – 125,000
PERFORMANCE BONUS: Up to 10% of annual salary

FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENT:
Employees are expected to work on-site at least once per month at our Toronto office (4 New Street., Toronto, ON), with additional in-office days as required based on business needs. Hybrid schedules are determined collaboratively between employees, managers, and teams.
