Job Summary
The MRP Control person is responsible for managing and optimizing material requirements planning processes within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures the seamless coordination of supply chain activities, demand planning, and inventory management through effective utilization of ERP systems such as SAP. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate production schedules, analyzing demand forecasts, and ensuring the availability of materials to meet production goals. This position plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.
Duties
- Responsible for material resource planning, MRP control, including the material planning and procurement, production planning and scheduling, customer service and delivery planning
- Main contact to stakeholder along the supply chain – customers, suppliers and production
- Responsible for regular training and skill enhancement on SAP-MRP-Master Data and transaction knowledge
- Responsible for Master Data accuracy in the system, for all data connected to Supply Chain activities
- Responsible for inventory control according to standard process, parameters and targets
- Contact for purchasing and sales for customer or supplier escalations
- Contact for finance and accounting for the processes of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Responsible for continuous improvements in dedicated areas
- Support to achieve the company goals and costs
- Responsible to measure and achieve the supply chain key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Responsible to maintain and update customer sites as required
- Work in compliance with ESA and OSHA regulatory requirements
- Comply with all IATF, ISO 14001 and 45001 requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience with SAP in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of MRP processes, demand planning, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques and data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in planning activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve operational goals.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
