Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall in various residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Drywall Installer plays a vital part in ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of our projects, contributing to the overall success of each build.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprint.
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate work seamlessly
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning or removing old materials before installation
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure airtight finishes where necessary
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for large-scale projects or specific tasks
- Assist with related tasks such as insulation installation or minor framing when required
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools such as tape measures, knives, t-squares, and screw guns
- Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and sanders
- Background in construction including carpentry, masonry, or general contracting is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary.
