Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail- oriented Office Administrator to support day-to-day accounting and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts and reporting as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Process accounts payable, including invoices, payments and customer statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts to match statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with GST filings, month-end entries and year- end preparation.
- Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with vendors, customers and internal staff regarding billing or payment questions.
- Prepare daily financial updates for Management.
- Provide general office and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
- Education or training in bookkeeping, accounting or a related field is an asset.
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiancy with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and general office software.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
