Duties

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with integrity and attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and serving techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to perform multiple duties simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the food industry or serving roles is highly desirable to ensure seamless performance.
