Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Hardscape Foreman to lead our installation crew on residential landscaping and hardscaping projects. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience leading a hardscape team and is confident managing crews, operating equipment, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Our projects primarily include interlock patios, driveways, walkways, and retaining walls, with occasional softscape work as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a hardscape crew on daily projects
- Pick up and drop off crew members daily
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
- Operate equipment including dingos, skid steers, compactors, saws, and other landscaping machinery
- Read and execute project plans and layouts
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
- Communicate daily with project managers regarding progress, materials, and scheduling
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and job site safety
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites
- Assist with softscape and general landscaping tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a hardscape crew
- Strong knowledge of interlock installation, grading, base preparation, retaining walls, and drainage
- Experience operating landscaping and construction equipment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to tow trailers and transport equipment/materials
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with natural stone installations
- Experience with softscaping and planting
- AZ or DZ license is considered an asset
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays during peak season
