The Opportunity: The E-Learning Animator provides support in the development of e-learning programming for Dermatology Clinic Sault Ste. Marie. The NOHFC intern will co-support our e-learning team with implemented practices in educational technology as well as e-learning development and design. The intern will work with the TRWHC team, key essential partners as well as interact and consult with Sault College Continuing Education and other departments. This opportunity will provide the candidate with an ability to enhance their interpersonal skills as they will be responsible for communicating with multiple departments throughout the college to gather the required information for the development of online programming.
What you need to be successful:
· Degree or Diploma in Education, Business, Graphic Design, Game Art or Information Technology
· Experience using a learning management system (LMS) considered an asset
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Strong organizational skills and time management skills
This is a Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation contract position funded for one year. To be eligible for this internship, the candidate must meet the following:
· Candidate must be a new entrant into the workforce, are transitioning to a new career, or the unemployed or underemployed who are entering a new field.
· Candidate must have not previously participated in an NOHFC funded internship in the 2020 Mandate.
· Candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
· Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
· Once hired, the candidate must reside in the Northern Ontario community in which they are employed
Toronto Regional Wound Healing Clinic is a dermatology clinic, with a clinic based in Sault Ste. Marie ON, that delivers clinical services and clinical education that aims to address gaps in healthcare knowledge (especially in Northern, Remote, Indigenous, and Isolated Ontario communities) through interprofessional, diverse, and culturally informed education.
