Coaches needed! We are hiring for multiple positions.
Triumph Acrobatics Performing Arts Society is a non-profit organization that provides circus, theatre, dance, and fitness classes for all ages and skill levels. Triumph is committed to being a cornerstone of the Mission arts community and making the performing arts accessible for everyone.
We are looking for coaches to teach the following classes:
- Beginner, intermediate, and advanced trampoline (minimum of NCCP Gymnastics Foundations)
- Beginner tumbling
- Intermediate and advanced acrobatics
- Beginner bar and vertical aerial
Required:
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Thorough knowledge of safety standards, injury prevention, and best practices for spotting and skill progression
- The ability to work independently, enforce safety guidelines, and lead creative and effective classes
- The ability to maintain a communicative and professional relationship with staff, students, and parents
The preferred candidate will possess:
- Basic knowledge of sports physiology and anatomy
- Experience working with children and youth of all skill levels, including neurodivergent individuals
- Experience working for a non-profit, community-focused organization
- Interest in developing the performing arts community in Mission
Hours of Work:
- A variety of classes are available during the daytime, evenings, and weekends
- Opportunity to sub for other coaches as needed
- May include assisting with special events and performances
Rate of Pay: $20 - $35 per hour based on certifications and experience.
