CNC Operator (5-Axis) – Newmarket, ON
A well-established, world-class tooling manufacturer in Newmarket is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join their team. A global leader in large high-pressure die cast tooling, supporting powertrain, body, and structural components for major automotive OEMs.
About the Role
You'll be operating two 5-axis CNC machines, handling all setup and tooling requirements while cutting H13 steel die cast cavity inserts. This is a hands-on role in a state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment and a strong team culture.
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of machinist experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience is an asset
- Experience with DMG DMU 5-axis machines and Heidenhain controls is a strong asset
