Duties
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitizing work stations and equipment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ensure all food served meets presentation standards and quality expectations
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and restaurant policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if needed
- Passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
