Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to assemble and cook pizzas
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Manage multiple orders efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills during busy periods
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for accurate order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and managing transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Kitchen experience or prior food industry background is highly desirable
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
