We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, replacing, and repairing automotive glass with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working in automotive repair shops, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable working with various tools. Responsibilities
- Remove damaged or broken automotive glass safely and efficiently
- Install new or replacement glass using appropriate tools and techniques
- Inspect vehicles for additional repair needs related to glass or other components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to complete installations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service details
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive systems required
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment necessary
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of automotive glass installation processes is a plus
- Mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
