Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join our dynamic POV team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in medical aesthetics, particularly with facials, microneedling and is laser technician certified. Our goal is to create an iconic client self-care experience combining multiple skincare modalities for natural-looking outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to determine and recommend appropriate comprehensive skincare treatments and medical grade skin care products.
- Provide skincare treatments such as facials, chemical peels, and microneedling, and more.
- Operate a laser resurfacing and IPL device for skin rejuvenation (pigmentation, vascularities, anti-aging, etc.).
- Educate clients on procedures, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in skincare treatments through continuous education such as conferences, webinars, courses and trainings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards in all procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the treatment process.
- Taking an active role in building and growing your client base through social media, events, community activities, etc.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician through a qualified training program.
- 2-5+ Years experience in medical aesthetics is required.
- Strong understanding of skin types including how to treat skin concerns for correction and prevention.
- Proficiency in using technology, such as iPads, computers, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to operate and maintain an active social media account (Ie. Instagram). Attach your current IG handle in the application if active.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
