Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bathroom Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and restoring bathroom fixtures and finishes with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to high-quality bathroom renovations and installations.
Responsibilities
- Install bathroom fixtures including sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, and cabinetry according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Utilize hand tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, and caulking guns to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform plumbing connections and repairs as needed for proper fixture operation
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and prevent leaks
- Conduct restoration work including surface preparation, painting, and finishing touches for a polished look
- Lay tiles and flooring materials with precision to meet design standards
- Use welding skills when necessary for custom fixtures or structural support
- Follow safety protocols at all times during installation and construction activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in construction and installation projects
- Experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, or related fields preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for waterproofing applications
- Skills in tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration work are highly desirable
- Familiarity with construction painting and finishing processes is a plus
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions for complex installations
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites
