OrbitPro Construction is a growing construction company serving Ottawa and the surrounding area, specializing in residential renovations and commercial construction. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and skilled Carpenter/Renovation Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of residential renovation and commercial construction projects.
- Complete framing, drywall installation, taping, mudding, painting, flooring, trim, doors, cabinetry, ceiling systems, and other carpentry tasks.
- Assist with demolition, site preparation, and general construction work.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Safely operate hand and power tools while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of carpentry or renovation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, physically fit, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
