Position: Commercial HVAC Apprentice (3rd/4th Year) or Journeyman
We are currently hiring a full-time Commercial HVAC Technician (Apprentice or Journeyman). This role involves hands-on commercial fieldwork—including healthcare environments—and requires flexibility for shift work and occasional after-hours service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, with clear documentation of work performed
- Utilize digital platforms (e.g., SiteDocs, Housecall Pro) for safety compliance, job tracking, and client communication
- Ensure compliance with WSIB, OHSA, and all applicable safety regulations
- Deliver a professional, clean, and communicative customer experience
- Participate in rotating shifts and on-call/emergency service as required
Minimum Requirements
- 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman certification
- Valid Gas Technician License (G2 or G1)
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and driver’s abstract screening
- Strong mechanical aptitude and digital documentation skills
- Availability for shift work and on-call responsibilities
Nice to Have
- Experience working in healthcare or complex HVAC infrastructure
- Familiarity with platforms such as SiteDocs, Jobber, or Housecall Pro
- Dual ticket (e.g., Plumbing + HVAC)
- Strong communication skills and leadership on job sites
