You could be an important part of the team creating a shopping experience that is personal, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. You could help keep our boutique beautifully presented and our inventory organized within our point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Monday–Saturday: 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
What We are looking for
Customer Service & Sales
- We're looking for people who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and want to build a long-term home with a respected independent boutique.
- Welcome customers with warmth and enthusiasm while discovering their needs.
- Help customers find styles, colours, sizes, and fits that make them feel confident.
- Recommend merchandise naturally, introducing customers to the beautiful pieces throughout our curated collection with confidence—never pressure.
- Support customers with clear communication in and around the fitting rooms with understanding, patience and product knowledge to ensure they find their best fit.
- Maintain a polished, fashion-forward appearance by wearing solid black business casual clothing and non-athletic black footwear while on the sales floor.
Inventory Management
- Process customer purchases using our state-of-the-art Point of Sale system.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Receive new merchandise and enter products into our POS inventory system.
- Take pride in ensuring inventory is accurate, organized, and ready for the sales floor.
- Print custom price labels and barcode labels for new and replenishment inventory.
Store Operations
- Work collaboratively within our close-knit team to create a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and coworkers.
- Bring a positive attitude—we enjoy having fun while maintaining the professionalism and confidence our boutique is known for.
- Keep merchandise organized, replenished, steamed, and beautifully displayed.
- Merchandise products according to boutique standards and maintain accurate pricing and product labelling.
- Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and work areas clean and inviting.
- Assist with outdoor displays during suitable weather and help maintain those areas, including watering plants and participate in recycling and garbage duties with the team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Remain aware of shoplifting or security concerns and report issues promptly to management.
- Beautifully package customer purchases with care and attention to detail.
- Participate in team meetings, seasonal promotions, training sessions, or evening social events once every few months.
- Represent the G.Facey Clothing brand with professionalism, kindness, and a “customer-first attitude”.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong customer service and sales experience in the Canadian market for 2+ years
- Comfortable computer skills and a propensity to learn.
- A passion for fashion and helping people feel their best.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills while in a busy retail environment.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Basic math skills.
High school diploma or equivalent and experience with Lightspeed is preferred but not required.
Successful applicants should be willing to:
- Provide work references.
- Complete a police record check if requested.
