As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of high-impact projects and guide them from planning through completion. This role requires confident decision-making, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to align clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams around clear project outcomes.
From high-rise towers and institutional developments to large-scale commercial projects - you'll oversee projects from award through closeout while working alongside industry-leading engineers, estimators, production teams, and site leaders. This is an opportunity for an experienced construction leader who knows how to anticipate and manage risk, drive accountability, and deliver results in a demanding project environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and manage large-scale projects from start to finish, ensuring strategic alignment with client needs, budget constraints, and timeline expectations.
· Provide clear direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring effective coordination across all project phases.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring excellent communication, relationship management, and a high level of client satisfaction.
· Manage cost tracking and oversee the financial performance of projects, ensuring they are completed within the allocated budget.
· Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to address these risks and lead the team to resolve issues efficiently.
· Oversee the procurement and allocation of resources for multiple projects, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are efficiently utilized.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of project phases. Monitor the progress of multiple projects, addressing delays and ensuring that deadlines are met.
· Ensure that all project deliverables meet DESA Glass’s stringent quality standards and client expectations.
· Provide mentorship and guidance – help foster a collaborative work environment that encourages continuous learning, professional development, and a commitment to excellence.
· Lead efforts to ensure that all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safety-first culture on job sites.
· Regularly report to senior leadership and other stakeholders on the status of ongoing projects, highlighting achievements, risks, and opportunities.
· Drive improvements in project management processes, techniques, and systems.
· Actively contribute to DESA Glass’s ongoing commitment to operational efficiency, innovation, and industry best practices.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· 7+ years of Project Management experience
· 5+ years of commercial glazing, curtain wall, window wall, or building envelope experience
· 5+ years of experience managing projects ranging from $1M to $30M+
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Strong understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, and construction schedules
· Exceptional communication and leadership skills
· High attention to detail
· Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
· Time management
PREFERRED
· PMP Certification
· Engineering Technology Diploma or Construction Management Degree
· Experience with stick-built, unitized curtain wall, and window wall systems
· Experience mentoring project teams
