Overview
Our company provides scaffolding erecting and rental services to construction sites and commercial buildings. We are looking for an energetic person who is proactive and accountable in all aspects to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders for job sites
- Delivery to and pick up at job sites
- Unloading and loading of trucks with scaffold equipment
- Delivery of equipment to sites with a Ford F550 truck
- Counting and returning equipment to stock
- Organization of yard, tool room and other areas
Skills
- Basic knowledge of power tools
- Able to lift 50-100lbs.
- Able to drive truck and trailer, with experience driving in downtown Toronto and GTA area
- Has clean driving record in the last 5 years, driving abstract from Ministry of Transportation is required
- Able to do daily truck logs when needed
- Able and willing to listen and follow instructions
- Able to learn and get familiarize with the equipment quickly
- Ability to work as a team and as an individual
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in construction settings and/or industrial settings
- Basic knowledge of MS Outlook
- All-terrain forklift experience, Telehandler with telescopic boom preferable.
Training Certificates
- WHIMS
- Workers Health & Safety Awareness – 4 Steps
- All-terrain Forklift license
- G driver license and/or AR license
Other
- Work through all kinds of weather – sun, rain, cold and hot
- Hour 7:30am to 4:30pm (Mon to Fri) 44 hours work week (some overtime when needed)
- Occasion Saturday or Sunday
- Hourly rate from $22 to $24
- No public transit available
