Job Overview

Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression of the clinic
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Handle appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders efficiently
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Verify and submit insurance claims when applicable
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
Experience
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
- Comfortable using scheduling software, email, and basic computer programs
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
