Westlock Powersports & Marine is looking for a Certified BRP Service Technician to join our growing, premier powersports service department.
At WPM, we are an authorized BRP dealer carrying Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, and Can-Am products, along with White River Marine Group boats. We specialize in aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, fibreglass sport fishing boats, and powersports equipment for every season.
We love all things mud, snow, trails, and water, and we’re proud to offer a fun, fast-paced environment with a strong team culture. Alongside our service department, we also carry a large selection of parts, accessories, and riding gear.
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday + Some Saturday Work Available
- Competitive pay based on experience and certifications
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Test parts and systems to ensure products are operating to manufacturer specifications
- Complete all required forms, checklists, and repair documentation accurately
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and winterization on powersports units, boats, motors, and trailers
- Repair or replace worn and damaged components within specified timelines
- Disassemble and reassemble components efficiently and correctly
- Communicate repair findings and required work clearly with Service Advisors
- Perform inspections for insurance and warranty purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with additional duties as required by dealership operations
Requirements & Assets
- BRP certification and/or Mercury engine experience required
- Powersports or small engine experience required
- Automotive mechanic experience is considered an asset
- Must supply own tools and toolbox
- Forklift certification is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and attention to detail
