Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Suit and Tie Security Guard to maintain a safe and welcoming environment at our venue. The ideal candidate will present a polished appearance, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and effectively manage security responsibilities in a formal setting. This role is essential in ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property while upholding the high standards of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and verify guest credentials
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security concerns
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a courteous and professional manner
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Provide exceptional guest services by assisting visitors with inquiries or directions
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities
- Uphold a professional appearance by wearing appropriate attire, including suits or business attire
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, customer service, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively through public speaking and guest interactions
- Experience working with children is a plus, especially for family-oriented events or venues
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately if required for ticketing or event sales
- Demonstrated professionalism in appearance and demeanor, including wearing formal attire such as suits and ties
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory
