Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window Blind Installer to join our team. This role involves accurately installing, repairing, and maintaining window treatments in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related tasks, with proficiency in using hand tools and reading schematics. Attention to detail and safety are essential to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Measure windows accurately to determine the correct size and placement of window blinds or shades
- Install window treatments using hand tools, ensuring secure and precise mounting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to execute projects effectively
- Perform repairs or adjustments on existing window treatments as needed
- Utilize caulking, construction painting, or other finishing techniques to ensure a professional appearance
- Collaborate with clients or team members to confirm installation specifications and address any concerns
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all tasks
- Assist with restoration or renovation projects involving window treatments or related carpentry work
Experience
- Prior experience with construction, carpentry, or installation work is preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, caulking, and schematics interpretation is essential
- Knowledge of related trades such as plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or construction painting is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
Candidates should possess good problem-solving skills, physical dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background in construction-related fields will be advantageous for success in this role.
