Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the desired color and finish specifications
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes using spray guns and power tools with precision and consistency
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects, blemishes, or inconsistencies; perform touch-ups as needed to meet quality standards
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to disassemble or reassemble custom projects for optimal painting access
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including heavy lifting techniques and proper handling of paints and chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained
Skills
- Proven experience or extensive automotive spraying background demonstrating spray painting expertise
- Strong fabrication knowledge related to exhibits, tradeshows, and automotive spray processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray painting equipment for efficient application
- Ability to lift heavy components safely during disassembly or reassembly tasks
- Familiarity with woodworking/metalworking procedures to understand diverse structures and surfaces
- Excellent attention to detail for achieving high-quality paint finishes free of defects
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
