Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for rubber lining application, including cleaning and surface treatment.
- Measure and cut rubber materials to specified dimensions using hand tools and machining equipment.
- Install rubber linings on tanks, pipes, or other industrial components using appropriate techniques.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, or other machinery to move heavy equipment or materials safely.
- Conduct inspections of completed linings to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues related to rubber lining processes and equipment.
- Able to demonstrate compliance with company safety procedures & standards.
- Other duties as aligned by lead hand & supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Crawl inside spools to stitch the applied rubber.
Work Environment:
- Protective Equipment is mandatory and includes steel-toed boots, earplugs, and safety glasses.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
