Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold safety and sanitation standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills
- Familiarity with restaurant or food industry standards is a plus
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
