Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using advanced tools and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and modifications
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and implement solutions
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repair processes
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
Skills
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for accurate diagnostics
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs
- Experience with vehicle assembly and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$123,217.08 per year
