NOW HIRING – Drivers Payroll Specialist (Truck Transportation)
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC

We are looking for an experienced Drivers Payroll Specialist to join our growing transportation company in Vaudreuil-Dorion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing payroll for truck drivers and a thorough understanding of the unique pay structures within the transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for company drivers and owner-operators.
- Calculate mileage, hourly, percentage, trip, layover, detention, loading/unloading, and other driver compensation.
- Review trip settlements, timesheets, logs, and supporting documentation for payroll accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation.
- Maintain payroll records and employee files.
- Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs), T4s, RL-1s, and other payroll-related documentation.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from drivers and management.
- Reconcile payroll reports and coordinate with the Accounting, HR and Operations departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in the truck transportation or logistics industry.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Payroll Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and Quebec payroll requirements will be an asset.
- Must have experience with transportation payroll, driver settlements, mileage pay, and variable compensation structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, TransPlus and QuickBooks Desktop.
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
