Colborne Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service small animal practice proudly serving Simcoe and the surrounding communities for 50+years. For decades, we have been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with our clients and their beloved pets.
We are currently looking for a friendly, compassionate, and organized Client Care Representative / Assistant to join our supportive team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while helping ensure the highest level of care for every patient that walks through our doors.

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred, and experience with AVIMARK practice management software is considered an asset.

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding appointments, prescriptions, procedures, and general pet care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Process invoices and payments while assisting with billing inquiries.
- Support the veterinary team with laboratory duties and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area and clinic environment.
- Educate clients on preventative care, products, and services available through the clinic.
- Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred.
- Experience with AVIMARK is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate, positive attitude toward both clients and their pets.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
