HEAL Wellness – Team Lead
HEAL Wellness is proud to serve a variety of fresh and nutritious plant-based food options. HEAL was created out of passion, with the mission to offer quick-serve meals that are healthy for both our bodies and the planet.
We are looking for a Team Lead who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in leading by example.
As a Team Lead, you will help oversee daily operations, support and develop team members, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience. You will play a key role in maintaining HEAL's standards for food quality, cleanliness, efficiency, and customer service.

- Have previous restaurant, café, or quick-service leadership experience
- Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Are passionate about delivering a genuine guest experience
- Are health conscious and advocates for a healthy and active lifestyle
- Are dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Enjoy coaching, training, and motivating others
- Take ownership and pride in maintaining high operational standards
A typical day as a Team Lead:
- Lead daily operations and support team members throughout the shift
- Complete opening, closing, and operational checklists
- Prepare and serve made-to-order menu items (açaí bowls, smoothies, waffles, coffees, and more)
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards are maintained
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members
- Monitor inventory levels and complete inventory counts
- Manage daily cleaning and food safety procedures
- Support order flow and maintain efficiency during busy periods
- Work with point-of-sale and delivery app systems
- Encourage upselling and help drive store performance
- Create a welcoming environment for guests and team members alike
The ideal applicant would have:
- 1–3 years of restaurant, café, or quick-service experience
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or keyholder experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Workplace Health & Safety knowledge is an asset
