We are looking for an RECE or ECA who is passionate, energetic, outside the box thinkers who are also nurturing, caring, supportive, empathetic, and welcoming to fill 1 CONTRACT position covering Extra support in the Kindergarten and Schoolage rooms at our Cedarbrook Location.
You Can: Plan, develop and implement programs that reflect children's interest and respond to diverse individual and cultural needs.
You have: the ability to plan and implement exciting, challenging and diverse activities while also adhering to the physical distancing policies and procedures re: COVID-19
You Must Be Able to: Observe and assess children's progress and behaviour to ensure the programs meet the individual needs of each child and group needs
You Must: Demonstrate empathy, sensitivity, and support to the family unit
You Must: Support, comfort and encourage children who are experiencing difficulties and help them to understand and handle their feelings
You Can: Guide and assist children in the development of independent eating, dressing and toileting habits as well as strong behaviour management skills.
You will: Participate in regular in person / virtual staff meetings, in person / virtual training, and related activities both internal and External including the performance appraisal
You Are: a respectful communicator with children, parents, colleagues, teachers, managers, students, and volunteers
You Have: Some knowledge of Emergent curriculum (ELECT), AQI expectations, HDLH and the ability to plan and implement a daily program.
Qualifications:
E.C.E. diploma / ECA certificate or equivalency recognized by the CCEYA, registered with the College of ECE’s.

We are hiring for: Contract position: 3 hours 3-6 pm on school days and 7 hours a day on Full days (PA days, Summer, School breaks etc)
