Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service and upholding the high standards of our establishment. Prior hotel experience, hospitality background, or custodial experience are highly valued, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude while interacting with guests and team members
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
Pay: $17.60 per hour
